ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS CE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Referenced from the School Website
We are very proud of our school and invite you to take a brief tour of the main areas. Should you wish to visit, please contact the School Office and make an appointment. We will be delighted to show you round.
The entrance to our school is warm and welcoming with displays of our childrens’ work, our Worship table and our delightful tropical fish tank.
Our school grounds are spacious and include a large playground, superb playing field, summer house and an Outdoor Play area, which is a big favourite with the children.
We have a flourishing school garden in which the children learn how to grow, and look after, a variety of crops and flowers.
Our spacious ICT suite has a large number of computers as well as an Interactive whiteboard. A trolley, complete with laptops, enables the children to have additional laptops in classrooms. The children use the Internet through a carefully monitored Local Authority filter.
A range of freshly prepared meals are served daily in our Dining Room. We offer the children a varied menu that caters for all tastes.
The Reception classroom, as with all our classrooms, is light, spacious, well equipped with an Interactive Whiteboard. Our Reception class have access to their own outdoor garden and play area. A range of bikes and wheeled vehicles are used by the children as is the new Outdoor Play Area in the main yard.
Our large, well equipped hall and beautiful stage is used for a variety of purposes: school assemblies, school Christmas productions, school Christmas dinner, school clubs and the Summer Fayre.
Take a look at some of the lovely displays of childrens’ work that you will see around school.
We have close links with our church, St Michael and All Angels. We visit our church on a number of occasions throughout the year and our Vicar often comes in to talk to a class or to lead our worship.
