ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT WE DO

Foulridge Parish Council:-

  • Owns and maintains:
    • the cricket and playing fields
    • three bus shelters
    • the roadside benches
    • the children’s park
  • Owns and manages:
    • the allotments
    • the Cenotaph including repairs
    • the village hall and encourages its use e.g. voting days, yoga, education and parties

There really are too many activities to mention; they all require a great deal of background work that is traditionally shared between clerks, council members and volunteers. Good council work is truly an inclusive community effort.
